Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began working at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. Though she initially found it fascinating, eventually she stopped her interest. Then she bought an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to sell it. She then began her first cookbook. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published, and she also wrote magazine columns. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. Additionally, she sells items including food-related ingredients, storage containers and tools.
