Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She was the head girl at Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A-levels. In a discussion about her appearance on Emmerdale Coleman confessed she was regretting having not gone to university. Coleman, while still in the high school system, was part of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. She was awarded an award for her performance while the production was also well-received. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was in auditions at the drama schools. This happened in 2005. Coleman received two nominations in the year 2007. At the British Soap Awards she was nominated as Best Newcomer and in the National Television Awards she was awarded the title of the Most Popular Newcomer. In 2009, she was awarded nominations for two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion following the departure of Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the show. Moffat chose to choose her for the role as she had the best chemistry with Smith. Additionally, she was quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. She was more popular on TV. Eva has played a variety of roles on television, but two stand out in particular: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas for CSI Miami. Her first TV role earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop her passion for music. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She was married three times and has a daughter from her previous husband.
